12.23 Day 3 - Workout for the food gains

Image
Wednesday 12.23 Workout : -Volume sumo deadlift -DB single leg deadlift -cable leg abduction -cable glute kickbacks -single leg press -one legged side press I was a bit rushed for time because I kind of lagged with the workout this morning. Also had lunch plans with my brother so I didn't do very good time-managing on my part. However, I think I did a pretty decent job busting out my workouts efficiently and quickly. I just wish I didn't forget my polar watch so I could know how many calories I burnt with this pretty killer workout day! Diet : okk. So I did 2 pretty decent lowcarb-keto diet days before today. HAHA I guess I made it a high carb day today :) I knew I was going to eat pretty carby and not refrain, so my logic is to make up for it at the gym. Regardless, no regrets! It is definitely easier to stay on your workout schedule and be diligent with your diet if your friends all live far away or are super busy. But when there's the occasional time you

12.22 Day 2 - BEWBS

Image
Tuesday 12.22 Workout : -fasted pushups and ab wheels while watching  Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life -lift sesh - CHEST day: smith machine bench presses SS pushups Machine bench press barbell bench press cable chest flyes cable back flyes assisted dips sprint & incline treadmill HIIT 2 mins slowing down HR on stairmaster Diet : -black hazelnut coffee -earl grey tea -1/2 cup of white rice (or less), tofu soup -greek yogurt, blueberries, 1/2 banana, chia seeds, mint ice cream -protein shake -tri tip steak with greens & leftover tofu soup Musing : I really don't like chest days and my manfriend makes fun of me for my hatred of it. Unfortunately with age and also with the loss of fat, my bras are less filled than they used to be. If only I had abs, it would be a more fair trade-off! Regardless, it is time for me to stop being afraid of chest days and embrace a new area that I can try to gain/sculpt.. The workouts must've been pretty s

Action Plan and Day ONE

Image
Action Plan until NYE There's about 10 days left til the new year. I just started my winter break so I finally have time to catch up on life; plan and create my own meals; and go do ALL the workouts! Feels nice to have this down time to be proactive and hopefully productive. Ideally, I'd like to exclude all carbs out my meals, but knowing me, I like to nibble on rice and definitely like to indulge in fruits and ice cream alike. So my "diet" will be mostly lowcarb-keto but I am allocating complex carbs in the morning and possibly a bit of tempting ice cream/bars only post workout. Good guidelines? Me thinketh! 12.21 - Day ONE of working out and dieting Workouts : -Fasted BBG wk1 Arms & Abs -30 mins cycling class + 10 mins stairmaster = 525 calories -Sauna stretch Diet : -black hazelnut coffee (mmm!) -greek yogurt, mint ice icream, frozen blue berries, black berries, granola, chia seeds -stir fried cabbage, onion, red cabbage & rotisserie chicken

because who doesn't want to do less cardio?

Image
These days I've been catching up on youtube videos while on the dreadmill or stair- soul- master . They make the time go by a bit faster while being informative, inspiring, and entertaining. Most of the youtube vlogs end up averaging around 10 mins, and that's enough time for me and my post-lifting cardio sesh (please, don't sign me up for cardio) In the is video Jen Heward does HIIT cardio 1 mins each, do cycle 3x jump rope air squats plie squat jumps mountain climbers (knees to opposite elbow) walking lunges (30 lunges each leg) reverse crunch leg lifts I'm going to attempt to try these in the morning before I head out... but we'll see! She was so sweaty and out of breath afterwards hahah. I can't be tooo tired before I even start my day :P

well, obviously

My blog took a summer break along with me... I miss the long summer days and being less busy though. I don't want my blog to disappear off to oblivion so I'm going to try putting content more often, (goal for now, once a week at least??) We'll see how it goes, I have to be better with time management, and also find a way to stay perky all day instead of just from 5am-1pm. But no worries! I've been eating healthy, drinking lots of water, trying to get in an appropriate amount of sleep each night, and also squeezing in my workouts. Thanks to this video, it has spurred me to come back to my blog and share it :D

10/12 til Hawaii

Image
Current Summer Morning Routine This week, I originally planned to wake up at 5 am, but unconsciously turned off the alarm (every single day of the week.. I guess 5 am isn't happening yo). Alas I woke up at 6:45 am today. Nevertheless, I strive to start off the mornings well. Make it a Good Morning !~ While I brush my teeth, I boil a full kettle of water for my black coffee and freshly brewed passion fruit tea that I. and my family, can drink throughout the day. I don't know why, but drinking tea just makes the day a little better instantly. While I wait for the coffee grounds to steep, I try to do something productive. It rotates about these activites depending on how early I wake up and how I feel that particular morning: listen to podcasts (current favorites are The Smart Passive Income  and Ear Biscuits ) while checking my instagram feed read my daily devotional and have QT with God listen to edm unceunce music and do fasted cardio, pushups, pullups, ab wheels. 9/12 til Hawaii - cardio to cap the week

Image
EDC has completely slipped my mind this year,  until it popped up everywhere on social media. It's always fun seeing people's outfits and hair accessories. I think deciding on outfits is part of the excitement and anticipation for attending music festivals. And we all know that Edc bods are hashtag summer goals right? Anyways,  this year I didnt feel any sense of "fomo" except when I woke up this morning and read about Walter White (Bryan Cranston) ft Above & Beyond! This Breaking Bad fan is so peanut butter and jealous. That badassery must've been pretty awesome to witness. Ok, main point of this post. I love to tune into the livestreams during my workouts. I usually end up dancing along with the go-go dancers, djs, and attendees. Even though I'm not at the festival, and would probably never go to EDC, it is still entertaining to listen to the streams especially within the comforts of your house - clean bathrooms, comfy bed, water, food, ac, no traf

The one weekend in Hollywood-Ktown-Silverlake

Image
Darn, I'm trying to recap last weekend a week later.. I'm not sure why I haven't been able to sit myself down and reminisce with words. It's been a struggle haha. Regardless, Finally!! I am determine to finish this blog post. So, Saturday I had time to watch Youtube vids and play around with makeup:  Sarocha B Prom makeup  is what I attempted! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my attempt because lighting in a club is dark you see. Basically, my makeup was dark and sultry; typical girls' night out style of makeup. I had such a great moment dancing the night away and meeting new strangers  - MS54 [see what I did there, eyy haha]. However, I believe the best memory of the night may be when we left Create and right next to the exit was the glorious dirty dog stand. It is only after dancing for hours would I really ever consider buying hot dogs from the streets.. but live in the moment, and devour the experience I say! I was very ecstatic and content

ix myGSOM

On this day, I didn't feel like dressing up and just decided to stay casual. So I decided to make my gym apparel more exciting. I actually found this tribal print tank on sale at Pacsun , but it was a size too big. No big deal! Just wear a bandeau underneath, or in my case a sports bra, and knot it up on the side - make it knotty. heh heh I think this yoga pose is called the Toe Stand . Let me tell you, it was a bit of a challenge to keep my balance and does require concentration. But try it out, it's quite fun! ix. This pose kind of made me feel like a genie - "your wish is my command." ✨ A photo posted by DonutDiana (@rawrdianasaur) on Jun 11, 2015 at 4:19pm PDT

Is this dress purple or grey? haha I seriously had this conversation with someone when I wore this dress. But I think heather grey is what the official description would say :) This Rehab dress I found at Pacsun is one of my all-time favorite dresses. It's both casual and racy&sexy, all at the same time. I'm a sucker for lace knit. AND, this dress has a sweetheart cut with a see-through lacy, racer-back. Love, love, love it. You really have to see this uniqueness! The only "negative" aspect that I can think of this dress is that since the back is see-through lace, it's quite impossible to find a bra. But that's such an easy solution - free the nips, wear a bra with a bandeau, OR wear those silicone stick-on bras! viii. Who knew shadows on the wall could look insidious in the evening 😱👻 A photo posted by DonutDiana (@rawrdianasaur) on Jun 10, 2015 at 7:48pm PDT

oops time flies when you're having fun, being busy, and also stressing on the side But, I'm still taking my Pacsun ootd pics! These are just the past 4 outfits that I haven't updated onto my blog. I do feel a little vain taking pictures of my outfits. However, I'm also having a bit of fun coming up with simple outfits within the Pacsun parameter and being able to channel some creativity. It's also amusing to decide what angles, poses, and natural lighting I'm looking for that day. For example, lately it's been a bit gloomy and I've found that it's so much easier to take advantage of the lighting. Versus, when it's sunny, I have to see how the sunlight bounces off my face or creates weird shading. Heh, amateur photographer over here, if you can even label me that..

iii. sigh, boobs are slowly diminishing. Might as well grow a booty 🍑#itsgonnabeallmuscle. ps, Omg! went to #NTC workout today and did it fasted. It was awesome💪👍 A photo posted by AestheticDianasaurus (@rawrdianasaur) on Jun 3, 2015 at 11:04am PDT Today I forced myself to go fasted  NTC workout at my local 24 hour gym. And it was the best decision ever! The hour passed by so quickly, and just working out in a group environment motivated me to push strong throughout the whole workout. Amazeballs :D I will most definitely continue to attend the NTC classes, and as a matter of fact, I'm going to do most of my cardio seshes by gym classes. Today has proven to me that working out in a class setting encourages and uplifts me more than working out by myself. But weightlifting is a different story. I can push myself and encourage myself to be stronger and finish YO sets .

7/12 til Hawaii - sun, mon, tues

Image
Ok! so I've been pretty stellar about my diet . The only thing processed I've been consuming is wheat bread, oatmeal, and protein powder. And absolutely no junk food eaten so far! haha I think when I was trying out IIFYM , I gave myself the liberty to eat some junk food saying, ahh all carbs are the same. But I think my body does appreciate more natural carbs from fruits instead. Regardless, it does make me feel fresher and filled more with vitality when I eat sources straight from the earth. Also! My current morning caffeine fix is the cold brewed black coffee!  I'm liking the convenience of not having to wait for water to boil, and the sweeter notes of the coffee as well. :)) Plus it's quite nice to sip on a cold coffee on a sunny day Sun Ended May with an awesome Squat Sunday and Legs session. Mon Noticed the gym is most definitely getting busier as the days are getting longer and summer is upon us. Had a pretty decent back workout after work, but was too l

Top : LAhearts from Pacsun Sandals & Necklace : Steve Madden This past weekend I did some spring cleaning and realized how much I have accumulated from Pacsun exclusively. SOO, I thought it'd be a fun challenge to see how many outfits I'll conjure with an article of clothing from them. I'm by no means fashionable, but I'd like to think that I know what appeals my body and makes me feel both comfortable and "heep." My style probably does embody someone with a casual, SoCal mindset. I am drawn to downplayed edginess or cutouts along with subtle details. In essence, I look like someone who tries more than she does, because in actuality she just throws on a piece almost effortlessly - attires from Pacsun make it seamless. Frankly, I think most pieces from Pacsun really elevate your wardrobe :)

7/12 til Hawaii - where did week 6 go?

Image
so... last week, week 6,  was a week of sadness because I left my heart in Norcal. Unfortunately instead of going to the gym to squeeze out some endorphins, I lounged around eating hot cheetos and ice cream. my goodness, and I feel the effects of the junk food calories. Since I only have 6 more weeks til Hawaii and I really absolutely want abs, I need to crank out my workouts and tone down my diet. For the next 2 weeks, I'm going to just do good old fashioned " eating clean " and taking out all the junk food & processed foods. I don't think I have the patience and experimental mindset to test out iifym for now. And I also do not want to do a low carb-keto diet as of yet because I still want to eat my carbs, most especially fruits. We shall seee. Damn, I really want abs.

Long, long MDW weekend recap

Image
I'm still having withdrawals from a jam-packed half week with my love(s) in Norcal Sat I spy a unicorn! Drove to Norcal then almost immediately the bros took me to Sac Valley shooting range (but not before we grabbed a few tacos from the taco truck :D). I got to shoot with the AK-47 and AR-15. my goodness... I can't believe my manfriend and friend has those guns #murica. It was quite fun to be at the shooting range. Although, I have no idea if I even hit the target with the heavy-duty guns. I think we were just shooting with the guns mainly for the thrill, ha. On the otherhand, I am a good shot (pun hehe) with the handgun. first bullet to the head, second bullet to the chest. pew pew. When we finally left the shooting range, we came upon a saloon in our path. We're in gun country now boys . I think we got 4 amber ales for $10, holy so cheap. And of course country songs were being played, with people shooting pool in the background. The coolest part of the saloo

What's in my GYM bag?

Image
Okk... so, I've decided to kind of come out of my comfort zone! Currently, I've been interested in vlogging, but more like documenting my random, weekend adventures and outings. And since I just recently got a GoPro, I've been itching to test it out and also film/edit and try to squeeze some creative juices out of me. However, I haven't done anything exciting as of yet . LOL. anyways, for shits and giggles I filmed a Tag: what's in my GYM bag. Gawdd, I get camera shy and now I know some of my mannerisms that I can improve on. I also think with practice, I can become much better at articulating my words and also leveling my speaking skills more with my writing skills (I consider my writing skills more advanced than my conversing skills - Awkward introvert level ). Well, I am going to tie in my vlog with my blog, so here's a list of what I talked about!: hair ties, hair pin alcohol swabs to clean phone afterwards Jarv NMotion Sport Wireless Bluetooth 4.

Favorite fasted cardio workout mix currently!

Woo, it's been a long minute since I've came upon a song/mix/playlist that pumps me up for fasted morning workouts. Alas! This banger baby hits the spot - Dada Life May 2015 mix ps, anyone have a soundcloud playlist that's perfect for HIIT and UNCE-lifting? here's my collection so far AestheticDianasaurusUNCEUNCE Hope this mix gives you power for your workouts :D <3

5/12 til Hawaii - so far this week :)

Image
ok so it is Wednesday  and so far I have been pretty good with working out and generally keeping my diet low carb. Except, I am wanting, such want, a donut! Must restrain and see how effectively one week of dedication can show me. Things I have been working on so far: Documenting my food helps me stay on track and be mindful of the carbs. I've been letting most of my carbs be fruits (except sometimes I've been allowing myself cereal in the morning) hehe "healthy breakfast" food Satiating myself with lots of water & tea. And also drinking a full cup of water first thing in the morning. and also not dilly-dallying around much in the morning and forcing myself to do fasted cardio  asap. Or, if I'm not planning to do fasted cardio, I try to eat breakfast to fuel me up for a lifting sesh! doing more cardio by adding it in after lifting. So, I have this pretty great rule : I only allow myself to watch Friends  when I'm doing cardio. I choose to do sta

4/12 til Hawaii - Oh. My.

Sorry guys! I'm not sure how the week passed me by so quickly? It's funny how I've been waking up early and sleeping at a decent hour too. And I think I was quite productive each day, but still didn't give myself enough time and motivation to blog. I think I've been just kind of in a blogging rut - But I promise I worked out! hmmm, if workout is not blogged or documented, was there really a workout? haha jk Wait. I also think I had another culprit - LOL Youtube vids . Lately I've been obsessing over youtubers' apartment tours and morning routines. HAa.. I'm such a "voyeur." Youtube videos have given me other forms of motivation and inspiration, although it does create a lot of wants as well. (well, that's why there's so many ads and product placement right? exactly) Anyways, What I've learned this week : 1) Planning out meals in advance is definitely helpful. I do have to tweak couple times, but having a set plan helped preven

3/12 - ending the weekend

Daycation in San Diego with my loves Did so much in one day: checked out a swap meet, grabbed Phil's BBQ , picniced at the beach, walked around and digested while window shopping, drank PB stout, ate thai food and then walked to Omnia  to dance away some calories. My goodness, at the beach, the seagulls were hawking around ready to steal our foods, bags, purses, jackets! It was both funny and quite alarming to see a seagull stealthily sneak up behind you. Those beaks look like they can do some damage and gouge some eyes out... creeepy. Such predators! 3lau was DJing that night and I had no idea until I saw the screen BLAU omergard. The gods be good! HAHA jk, my friend joked around about the key phrases in Game of Thrones that no one would really use IRL, in our world. Lulz wouldn't that be hilarious. Ribs was a great idea. Picnic was a great idea. Sweater weather turned to sunny was not so great.

3/12 til Hawaii - Thursday & Friday

Image
Thursday AM workout : Fasted cardio 30:30 jumproping for about 12 minutes PM workout : Deadlift, back workout then 10 min cycle and sauna Friday I'm convinced bacon brings all the boys to the yard ;). So if you want to impress a dude, I suggest bacon weaves! lol, but this was my answer to my laziness and apprehension to frying bacon and having oil splatter everywhere. Bacon weave was the convenient answer for me to bake a bunch at a time whilst making it look "aesthetic" :) Once again, I've decided I'm going to do keto/low carb diet because lately I've been eating carbs too liberally (my iifym percentage for carbs is a bit high for me personally). I know my body is sensitive to carbs even though I'd like to pretend my metabolism is better that that. Guess I have to train my body :( and incorporate more carbs into my diet gradually. I will also be trying to eat most of my carbs in the morning and eat more naturally as well. Bacon weave, fried

3/12 til Hawaii - Tuesday & Wednesday

Image
Tuesday On cinco de drinko (Tuesday, May 5) I only did a quick fasted BBG Arms & ABs (but in all honesty it was a bit half assed) Wednesday I was actually planning to do fasted volume deadlifting because I ate ALOT of CHIPS the previous night. But my manfriend reminded me that it's about time I do CHEST DAY . LOLOL I fricking hate chest day. The only times I ever workout my chest is when I visit manfriend (long distance relationship) or when I do the pushups that are in the BBG. Ok, So I chugged my preworkout before entering the gym and had my workouts planned out and written out, so I don't look like a lost lamb. Workout plan (Chest) : -Warmup 20 pushups -Benchpress SS with pushups until failure -Chest flyes (mid and low) -Cable chest press -Rear delt flyes -Standing front lat pushdown (I absolutely love this one! you can see your back muscles!) -Tri pushdown CARDIO: 10 mins of cycling 5 mins of sauna GOOD frickin fasted workout! SO, Funny story : I was

3/12 til Hawaii - Monday

Image
Had to do some errands in the morning therefore I wasn't able to do fasted cardio. I woke up early, but dilly dallied around until I realized I ran out of time... hahah. So I ran out the door with an egg salad sandwich. After errands, I went to the gym since it was right there! Workout : -I did squats and went up to 135 lbs and tried to do some sets. Then I dropped back down to 95 lbs and did 6 good sets of 5-7 while doing bodyweight jump squats in between. -Next I went to the abduction machine and did 3 sets -Finally I tried out hip thrusts using the leg extension machine . (I found the picture example on google). First time attempting this workout and I really like it! Definitely felt it in my glutes, and I will be continuing to add this to my booty growing regimen. I think ladies have the most creative workout moves and adaptations. LOL you don't really see guys doing these kind of workouts or using machines in a different manner than what they were intended for. Exce

3/12 til Hawaii - Sunday

Image
Why yes, I do love Abs & BBQ still sore from squats & deadlifts! Not really complaining, since it means my muscles are growing :) Fasted AM workout : attempted to do week 3 BBG LEGS. did some jump squats and burpees, but eventually just ended up doing jumping jacks and jumproping while watching The Neighbors hahah! zemmm Zac Efron and his body that "is like a giant arrow that points to his dick" LMAO umm, other than the morning workout, I have been generally lazy and did work on my desk all day. Food-wise, I tried to not eat anything processed today. I also ate fruits after eating pork belly for lunch because I was still a little hungry - definitely helped satiate me. yahh nothing exciting or noteworthy today. LOL talking about fruits right hahah

2/12 til Hawaii - concluding week 2

Image
Thursday Fasted AM workout: BBG wk 2 Arms & abs Afternoon workout: volume squatted right before work. haha almost tripped on my undies and almost flashed someone my vaginaa FOOD: tried to make a smoothie with avocado for the first, but basically made a blueberry guacamole smoothie... hmm, probably not going to try that again :P -currently obsessing over chicken/tuna salad sandwiches. YUM! -cant really find a credible source for apple cider vinegar . but I read that it can help lose belly fat, so I'm going to try to remember to drink about a shot each day + cayenne pepper + cinnamon! Friday So soreee. Was a little difficult to motivate myself this morning, but it's the last day of the week[day] and the first day of the month! Omg it's MAY! Fasted AM workout : Did the week 2 full body workout. but it was quite difficult since I was so sore Saturday Fasted AM workout :  (except I drank a cup of milk to tide me until the post workout meal) did 6 set

Hurro, Jury Duty 2nd day at court, brought charger and listened to podcasts and snacked during recesses This week has been both fast and slow. I had jury duty for the first time and got selected to be a juror. I came with no expectations and left with respect, empathy, and insight. I've noticed how some people are so selfish and indifferent (those that were dismissed from jury selection), but also others who are moral and hold our laws to a high principle. As Americans, we really need to be grateful that we have the right to a trial and that 12 strangers spend X amount of hours and days to listen without bias and to be vigilant in upholding the laws. On the Go Diet In other news though.. wow so many breaks and recesses and long lunch hours. From Monday to Wednesday I was at the courthouse from 9am to 330 pm. And I did not plan nor pack my meals/snacks accordingly. One day I KILLED a Chipotle burrito bowl in one sitting cause I was famished and also had to rush to work ri

1/12 til Hawaii - the weekend

Image
Ok, so I will try not to indulge so much in the next 11 weeks. But this weekend I saw my friends and also my manfriend came to visit me. So here's my last "hurrah" to eating and drinking beers leisurely! Met up with Bellies and had Umenoya ramen, in Torrance. haha their spice is pretty killer, and I only got level 1 T_T. Definitely felt it later.. Then we headed towards  Newport beach and rushed to go watch Furious 7 in Imax! Such a bittersweet movie :(. So many feeeeels~ and I love how the franchise is tying in everything to past movies (namely Toyko Drift ), and also how they alluded to Paul Walker's death and good bye in the movie without killing off his character. continuing on - Right afterwards, we kind of rushed to the Newport beach beer festival . I found the Groupon VIP deal but unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of the extra hour of beer tasting, and also it was dark by the time we arrived. It would've been wonderful sitting on th

Week 1 Friday BRB, Nikki Blackketter is my fitspiration. haha and yes I watch her workout movies to motivate me and also to make me get pumped up for my own workout. Drank black coffee out of a hello kitty cup (like a boss) and went to the gym to do a fasted Back workout: wide arm lat pulldowns close grip pulldowns cable rows, rope face pulls bar pushdowns/triceps single lat pulldowns unilateral rows 5 mins of cycling However, afterwards I met with my friend and had a huge cup of taro slushy + egg pudding + boba. I'm fat .. I figured.... I can still treat myself to my cravings for a little bit, but I really need to hone it down furreal for the next 11 weeks HEH. I promise after this weekend? o:) why after this weekend? Because my manfriend is visiting mee <3

1/12 til Hawaii - Thursday

Image
Week 1 Thursday so my knee was hurting in the morning and I wasn't able to deadlift :(. But I was able to still do Kayla Itsines BBG week 1 Arms & Abs. hurtss I think on this day I have realized the importance of stretching and foam rolling. err.. and to just not go out of my own comfort zone and run :P jk. I think if I do want to sprint  HIIT,  I should do it at the park where there's lots of grass since a. I'm clumsy b. running on grass is less harsh on your knees/joints than running on pavement and/or treadmill 85 days

1/12 til Hawaii - Wednesday

Image
Week 1 Wednesday haha I had a sinful coffee shake from Mcdonalds in the morning, but my body decided to be a bit lactose intolerant. lol! so morning gym was delayed for a little bit -_- I was finally able to go to the gym and did 12 minutes of sprinting HIIT  on the treadmill then 8 mins of cycling & cool down. Throughout the day, I ate relatively clean and low carb,  until I came back from work and saw a bag of kettle chips in the kitchen....my gawd, my weakness. cheeeps haha 86 days I am editing this Thursday morning and I am incredibly sore from the squats done Tuesday evening. And NOT as bloated this morning as I thought I'd be hehe (from the chip gorge 'party'). I also think I must've hurt my left knee from sprinting, because when I squat down and try to get up, it feels so fragile and unstable! ahhh I hope it's something that can be healed naturally by my awesome body. Going to foam roll the shit out of my legs and try to increase blood flow. F

1/12 til Hawaii - Tuesday

Week 1 - Tuesday Nothing really extraordinary this day. well except that I totally killed it at the gym. Again :) In the morning, I originally wanted to go do HIIT sprints on the treadmill. but I just did not have the willpower so I ended up doing Kayla Itsines BBG - Arms & Abs . oh gawd my two most un-favorite body parts to workout *cry face* hahaha this picture made me laugh today I had a busy day at work and also someone sprayed the room with too much air freshener so my head was hurting. I was just too temperamental to want to deal with waiting for machines and racks so I headed straight home afterwards, and happily conversed with family during dinner. LOL this reminds me of Sims when their mood levels get higher when they interact with their friends and family. By 10 pm I was ready to force myself to go gym (even without caffeine!) and did box jumps intervals worked out lats while waiting for squat rack SQUAT . did 3 sets of 3 with 135lbs :D YEA. trying to get

Norcal visit & adventures

Image
A couple weeks ago I was able to take a break from work and spend a whole week in Norcal with my manfriend and see all my friends as well! He had work throughout the week but we were able to do normal couple things afterwards like binge-watch tv ( Better Call Saul!) and movies and pig out together. Manfriend always wants to watch scary movies with me, but I absolutely hate scary, so we compromised with the Purge movies. We also got to be a 'buff couple" - well he's buff, I'm really not - and worked out at the gym. However, we also ate so well throughout my visit <3. My heart is in my stomach  hahah Once the weekend commenced we were able to hike, dance with friends, and adventure around San Francisco! In my noobie youtube video, you'll see the Hidden Garden Steps, boba cravings and jenga, and Sunday Funday  housewarming activities. I can't really tell you which day was my favorite. I had so much fun spending time with my loved ones while seeing beautifu

1/12 til Hawaii - Monday

Image
Week 1 - Monday I've noticed that most of my titles on this blog are some sort of a countdown. hahha it seems like I live my life in countdowns, can't really blame an NYE baby for that ;D! This time I'm giving myself 12 weeks, so they will be in fraction form. Since it's week 1 right now, it's 1/12! I earnestly did each workout of the Monday Legs and Cardio . For each circuit of 7 minutes, I was able to do it 2x.. too fast too serious.  Working out in the morning allows me to be more proactive and productive throughout the day. I already know about myself that I get quite exhausted, drained by the end of day. Also, I have this personal rule to not intake any caffeine after 12pm. So I'm trying to make my cardio, which is also fasted, in the morning since motivation for cardio is the hardest for me to bring about. Monday evening, I got off work a little earlier than usual. Originally planned to squat but I forgot my workout pants. I figured it would be qui
