A couple weeks ago I was able to take a break from work and spend a whole week in Norcal with my manfriend and see all my friends as well! He had work throughout the week but we were able to do normal couple things afterwards like binge-watch tv ( Better Call Saul!) and movies and pig out together. Manfriend always wants to watch scary movies with me, but I absolutely hate scary, so we compromised with the Purge movies. We also got to be a 'buff couple" - well he's buff, I'm really not - and worked out at the gym. However, we also ate so well throughout my visit <3. My heart is in my stomach  hahah Once the weekend commenced we were able to hike, dance with friends, and adventure around San Francisco! I've been wanting to hike to the Potato chip rock for a long time. But it is a bit inland of San Diego and whenever we went to SD, we had other plans. So this was a spur of the moment thing when my friend invited us the night before! Sometimes I like to plan out fun things in advance, but other times, spontaneity is great too. I would've been at home happily Netflixing if I didn't go hike :P (it was a busy week with a little bit of stress!) Ok, the hike was at a steep incline for the whole 4 miles uphill. Wow, I was sweating the entire time and I was also out of breath the majority of the time. Hobbes  the corgi was such a champ however; he was being alpha dog and quite aggressively finished the hike.
