2/12 til Hawaii - concluding week 2

Thursday Fasted AM workout: BBG wk 2 Arms & abs Afternoon workout: volume squatted right before work. haha almost tripped on my undies and almost flashed someone my vaginaa FOOD: tried to make a smoothie with avocado for the first, but basically made a blueberry guacamole smoothie... hmm, probably not going to try that again :P -currently obsessing over chicken/tuna salad sandwiches. YUM! -cant really find a credible source for apple cider vinegar . but I read that it can help lose belly fat, so I'm going to try to remember to drink about a shot each day + cayenne pepper + cinnamon! Friday So soreee. Was a little difficult to motivate myself this morning, but it's the last day of the week[day] and the first day of the month! Omg it's MAY! Day 17 - fasted cardio and monday grumps..

MOODY Mondays It seems like people are grumpier on Mondays? They are probably recovering/withdrawing from the festivities of the weekends and are sad they have to start the weekdays all over again. I notice my tutees are grumpier, stubborn and I also notice drivers are more impatient and irritable it seems on Mondays. so strange.. So.. I'm officially gym-less right now. It feels so weird and bittersweet. I'm not sure what gym I will be going to next since my 2 year 24 hour fitness costco membership has finally terminated. I think it's time for me to check out MMA! But I also love lifting and making sure my muscles don't atrophy. haha I hope I don't lose my butt gains this week since I will mostly be doing cardio and HIIT/ Sprints . Pictures like this definitely motivate me to do sprints over long-distance jogging. Remember FAST twitch muscles, we want to fatigue them :)! Day 9: I want to be a badass

Been watching  Chuck  and seeing the female protagonist, Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) do killer moves and kick ass with hand to hand combat. All of a sudden I want to learn martial arts and become a certified BADASS.   I think it would also be awesome to have the skill to use a stick, pole, katana, sword. >:) So, I am adding become a badass  into my goals. Pretty excited! Day 9 (Saturday) I woke up well-rested and decided I didn't want coffee! On days I feel a natural motivation I try to stray away from unnecessary caffeine. I heard caffeine addiction and withdrawals are not so cool. Anyways Saturday was supposed to be a SQUAT day but this day I realized it really means = do every other workout while waiting for the squat rack . I had a great workout sesh however: -wide grip lat pulldowns -close grip lat pulldowns -deadlifts -then finally some squats.  Unfortunally by the time I went to the squat rack I was a bit tired, understa...

Cardio Day

I did 30 minutes of Georges St-Pierre's Fight Conditioning workout in the morning. I can just watch him workout while he huffs and puff in his French accent... Though I found out recently that French people are really straightforward and blunt to kind of a fault. If they don't like your first impression, you'll know. Or maybe I just met a douchey man who happened to be French too (no worries, it wasn't my first impression he didn't like. But still, the way he treated the other person was downright rude). Then in the evening went to the cycling class. Today's instructor is a petite Vietnamese woman and although her accent was incredibly hard to discern, it was awesome how she just yelled out UP and DOWN and LEVEL 10! haha. I also think she really enjoys techno music. Usually when I'm in cycling class I sit next to people who look like serious cyclers. The room is dimmed, so today I thought I sat next to a woman near my age and I tried to keep pace with ...
