The one weekend in Hollywood-Ktown-Silverlake

Darn, I'm trying to recap last weekend a week later.. I'm not sure why I haven't been able to sit myself down and reminisce with words. It's been a struggle haha. Regardless, Finally!! I am determine to finish this blog post. So, Saturday I had time to watch Youtube vids and play around with makeup:  Sarocha B Prom makeup  is what I attempted! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my attempt because lighting in a club is dark you see. Basically, my makeup was dark and sultry; typical girls' night out style of makeup. I had such a great moment dancing the night away and meeting new strangers  - MS54 [see what I did there, eyy haha]. However, I believe the best memory of the night may be when we left Create and right next to the exit was the glorious dirty dog stand. It is only after dancing for hours would I really ever consider buying hot dogs from the streets.. but live in the moment, and devour the experience I say! I was very ecstatic and content...

Is this dress purple or grey? haha I seriously had this conversation with someone when I wore this dress. But I think heather grey is what the official description would say :) This Rehab dress I found at Pacsun is one of my all-time favorite dresses. It's both casual and racy&sexy, all at the same time. I'm a sucker for lace knit. AND, this dress has a sweetheart cut with a see-through lacy, racer-back. Love, love, love it. You really have to see this uniqueness! The only "negative" aspect that I can think of this dress is that since the back is see-through lace, it's quite impossible to find a bra. But that's such an easy solution - free the nips, wear a bra with a bandeau, OR wear those silicone stick-on bras! viii. Who knew shadows on the wall could look insidious in the evening 😱👻 A photo posted by DonutDiana (@rawrdianasaur) on Jun 10, 2015 at 7:48pm PDT

Top : LAhearts from Pacsun Sandals & Necklace : Steve Madden This past weekend I did some spring cleaning and realized how much I have accumulated from Pacsun exclusively. SOO, I thought it'd be a fun challenge to see how many outfits I'll conjure with an article of clothing from them. I'm by no means fashionable, but I'd like to think that I know what appeals my body and makes me feel both comfortable and "heep." My style probably does embody someone with a casual, SoCal mindset. I am drawn to downplayed edginess or cutouts along with subtle details. In essence, I look like someone who tries more than she does, because in actuality she just throws on a piece almost effortlessly - attires from Pacsun make it seamless. Frankly, I think most pieces from Pacsun really elevate your wardrobe :)

1/12 til Hawaii - the weekend

Ok, so I will try not to indulge so much in the next 11 weeks. But this weekend I saw my friends and also my manfriend came to visit me. So here's my last "hurrah" to eating and drinking beers leisurely! Met up with Bellies and had Umenoya ramen, in Torrance. haha their spice is pretty killer, and I only got level 1 T_T. Definitely felt it later.. Then we headed towards  Newport beach and rushed to go watch Furious 7 in Imax! Such a bittersweet movie :(. So many feeeeels~ and I love how the franchise is tying in everything to past movies (namely Toyko Drift ), and also how they alluded to Paul Walker's death and good bye in the movie without killing off his character. continuing on - Right afterwards, we kind of rushed to the Newport beach beer festival . I found the Groupon VIP deal but unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of the extra hour of beer tasting, and also it was dark by the time we arrived. It would've been wonderful sitting on th...

I think edmusic excites me so much that I have mild butterflies in my stomach and my heart skips a beat sometimes. It's a natural upper for me and my secret little love affair. The closest feeling I can get to describe this feeling is when your breath catches in your throat and your stomach churns a bit because you're back in middle school and just saw your crush walking by around the corner. I don't know how to explain it. I get jittery, semi-anxious, and just want to dance to release all that pent up anticipation :) Completely sober, in my pjs, drinking water and this is how I feel

work, study, play work study play work study play work study play work study play work study play work study play work study play I've been so busy functioning and living life that well, you can tell... Showering has kind of been a nagging second thought, Food is always on my mind, What is gym? And sleep is my lover. It has been a thrill ride trying to balance my school, work, studying, sleeping, and weekend fun. Working out has really been on the backburner (I've still been doing insanity and lifting weights, don't fret, just not as diligently) and I feel like a jiggly chunk most of the time. Thank goodness for packing my own lunches, formless scrubs, black-shirt diets, and extremely well air-conditioned rooms that require jackets. I'll try to come back to this blog more often. It's been such a long while that I almost forgot about it really. There's about a month and a half til Halloween, my new mission! Uh oh, tis the season to be able to be scanda...

Past weekend fun

One of the greatest joys in life is to enjoy great times with amazing company. To me, the simplest great times are when you can soak up the sun, listening to waves, and eating and drinking merrily with good friends (ok fine, it could be simpler = just eating and drinking merrily with good friends). I got to do just that this past weekend. Whenever I hang out with this man (I'm going to call him Marshmallow) we drink a lot (of water..) and eat a lot of good food. No wonder I gained some love chubs our first year together. You're the most ignorant when you're happy and fat :) You're also more ignorant when you start wearing baggier, loose-fitting shirts. Anyways, luckily this past weekend we didn't eat unhealthy at all. I got to take him to Wurstkuche to grab a draft while checking out some hipster LA people, then to a 24 hour BCD soondobu joint because it was late at night and he wanted korean food.  The next day we headed to downtown Anaheim and I...
