1/12 til Hawaii - the weekend
Ok, so I will try not to indulge so much in the next 11 weeks. But this weekend I saw my friends and also my manfriend came to visit me.
So here's my last "hurrah" to eating and drinking beers leisurely!
Met up with Bellies and had Umenoya ramen, in Torrance. haha their spice is pretty killer, and I only got level 1 T_T. Definitely felt it later..
Then we headed towards Newport beach and rushed to go watch Furious 7 in Imax! Such a bittersweet movie :(. So many feeeeels~ and I love how the franchise is tying in everything to past movies (namely Toyko Drift), and also how they alluded to Paul Walker's death and good bye in the movie without killing off his character.
continuing on - Right afterwards, we kind of rushed to the Newport beach beer festival. I found the Groupon VIP deal but unfortunately we weren't able to take advantage of the extra hour of beer tasting, and also it was dark by the time we arrived. It would've been wonderful sitting on the sand and sipping on beers with my man while seeing the sunset. Instead, we had to wait in line in the cold and made it a game to drink as many beers to stay warm and play "catch up." I couldn't recruit any of my friends to come beerfest with us, but wow we had a lot of fun with just us two. #swolemate
And of course, the cherry topping to the fun-filled day was the midnight pizza delivery :D!! Pizza and beers = perfect marriage of foods haha
Unfortunately, I was only able to spend time with manfriend for only 24 hours. But I'd have to say, those 24 hours were so well spent! <3 Can't wait for our next adventures. The one good thing of long distance relationships is that it's so much easier to eat clean and moderately when you're not with your significant other. haha we are such foodies and drinkies. And that is why I usually gain 5 lbs when I see him...
Oh and I always get some sort of heart break whenever I have to leave manfriend, but eating and conversing heartily with family always helps.
