I don't quite understand how the weekends always pass by so quickly! haha I don't even stay out late anymore :P Saturday  Did a quick fasted workout before starting the day. I got to check out the Ruche & Threadsence sample sale in Downtown Fullerton. We went at around 1:30 pm and the line wasn't long at all. There were still many boxes of clothes but I wonder if the selection was so much better earlier? I still was able to get 5 articles of clothing that I really like! so cheap too - What a win :).  Then my friend and I dilly-dallied and basically drove around in circles. Eventually we ended up at a cafe, per my request, to get lattes and cotton candy clouds! What an adorable concept. However, it was a bit more costly than I would've preferred. Also, it was quite loud each time the machine was turned on. haha I shouldn't have drank a latte so late at night though. Showering has kind of been a nagging second thought, Food is always on my mind, What is gym? And sleep is my lover. It has been a thrill ride trying to balance my school, work, studying, sleeping, and weekend fun. Working out has really been on the backburner (I've still been doing insanity and lifting weights, don't fret, just not as diligently) and I feel like a jiggly chunk most of the time. Thank goodness for packing my own lunches, formless scrubs, black-shirt diets, and extremely well air-conditioned rooms that require jackets. I'll try to come back to this blog more often.   One of the greatest joys in life is to enjoy great times with amazing company. To me, the simplest great times are when you can soak up the sun, listening to waves, and eating and drinking merrily with good friends (ok fine, it could be simpler = just eating and drinking merrily with good friends). I got to do just that this past weekend. Whenever I hang out with this man (I'm going to call him Marshmallow) we drink a lot (of water..) and eat a lot of good food. No wonder I gained some love chubs our first year together. You're the most ignorant when you're happy and fat :) You're also more ignorant when you start wearing baggier, loose-fitting shirts. (I took this picture @ Hollywood Palladium, Porter Robinson) I had absolutely so much fun on Saturday with my friend and his friends at the Hollywood Palladium to watch Porter Robinson live. O M G I have this habit of setting low expectations when I go hang out with people, because then it's only your responsibility to make the most out of everything and exceed those expectations! And guess what, I at least have a good time every time. This hang out was planned two months in advance, and I kind of thought my friend was joking about buying the tickets. But true to his words we went. It was crazy how people were just waiting at the gates trying to pawn off their tickets since the event was sold out . It was originally $35 but they were going for at least $100. Ridiculous :/ I'm so glad originally the tickets were at a decent price, because surely Porter could've made it more expensive and obviously people would still buy.
