The one weekend in Hollywood-Ktown-Silverlake
Darn, I'm trying to recap last weekend a week later.. I'm not sure why I haven't been able to sit myself down and reminisce with words. It's been a struggle haha. Regardless, Finally!! I am determine to finish this blog post.
So, Saturday I had time to watch Youtube vids and play around with makeup: Sarocha B Prom makeup is what I attempted! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my attempt because lighting in a club is dark you see. Basically, my makeup was dark and sultry; typical girls' night out style of makeup.
I had such a great moment dancing the night away and meeting new strangers - MS54 [see what I did there, eyy haha]. However, I believe the best memory of the night may be when we left Create and right next to the exit was the glorious dirty dog stand. It is only after dancing for hours would I really ever consider buying hot dogs from the streets.. but live in the moment, and devour the experience I say! I was very ecstatic and content.
Sunday
Had the time and opportunity to explore some parts of LA with the dears. We decided to check out the Commissary at the Line Hotel in Ktown. It's beautiful, relaxing and absolutely perfect for a sunny Sunday. Being in the open environment made me inspired and motivated to one day have a greenhouse in my future backyard next to a pool also. Wouldn't it be wonderful to be surrounded by greenery in an aesthetic fashion? And to be able to make your morning coffee or tea and just read a book or do your work via the daylight streaming through. I'm just imagining myself basking in such idyllic ambience. hashtagGoals. Thank you Roy Choi for your vision and reminding others to be open-minded and innovative as well!
After chilling poolside for most of the early afternoon, we still had cravings for something sweet. Decided upon Milk and each of us tried several samples (even though there's a sign that says only a couple per) HAHA. but the person helping us was so amicable o:). I thought Milk was a bit too sweet for me, but I'm glad I got to cross that off my LA-to-do list. Though I am mildly sad that I didn't think to take a picture of the macaron and ice cream with the MILK sign. haha foodie fail
And that concludes this blog! I'm trying to be better at documenting my memories. I used to think pictures were good enough, but I feel like pictures don't exactly remind you of funny stories or frustrated moments [oh yea, like how LA parking sucks for this suburban girl. I definitely made lots of exasperated noises!] Haha!
here's to more summer memories <3
