Action Plan and Day ONE
Action Plan until NYE
There's about 10 days left til the new year. I just started my winter break so I finally have time to catch up on life; plan and create my own meals; and go do ALL the workouts! Feels nice to have this down time to be proactive and hopefully productive.
Ideally, I'd like to exclude all carbs out my meals, but knowing me, I like to nibble on rice and definitely like to indulge in fruits and ice cream alike. So my "diet" will be mostly lowcarb-keto but I am allocating complex carbs in the morning and possibly a bit of tempting ice cream/bars only post workout. Good guidelines? Me thinketh!
12.21 - Day ONE of working out and dieting
Workouts:
-Fasted BBG wk1 Arms & Abs
-30 mins cycling class + 10 mins stairmaster = 525 calories
-Sauna stretch
Diet:
-black hazelnut coffee (mmm!)
-greek yogurt, mint ice icream, frozen blue berries, black berries, granola, chia seeds
-stir fried cabbage, onion, red cabbage & rotisserie chicken with purple sweet potato
-frickin awesome haagen-dazs peppermint bark ice cream bar
-chocolate protein shake w milk
Musing:
I wish the Monday cycling class was earlier in the evening cause 7 pm is sorta late for workouts (or is that only my thought? haha) It also seems like when it's darker in the winter, it's even colder. But I'm quite glad I finally forced myself to go cycle because when I went today, there were only 2 students (counting myself) for the 1st 20 mins. That was a lot of pressure! I tried to keep up with the instructor and the other guy who was obviously pretty pro at indoor-cycling.
I may have drank a bit too much coffee today because my Polar watch told me my HR was at around 177 and my heart felt like it was beating too hard too fast too long. I was also wearing my Sweet Sweat waist band and had put the gel on too; think that could've been an added factor to why I felt light-headed.
Anyways, I told myself to hang in there for 30 mins. Afterwards I slowed down my HR and did 10 mins of stairmaster while clenching my butt cheeks. All in all, I'm pretty satisfied with my workouts today.
Diet... Today I didn't follow my guideline of eating ice cream AFTER workout (but I haven't made my rules up yet!) Will try to better plan my meals and when my carb-intakes are.
