Oversleeping

I'm trying to become a morning person, alas, I'm just really not. :(
Why a morning person?
You know, wake up with the crisp morning air in your lungs/
Drinking a little tea and coffee with some toast/
Reading the news while listening to the chirping of birds/
Then hearing the morning rustle of the rest of the world, or your household, waking up.
Nope, never was a morning person, ever. Though I can stay up all night without much trouble... hmm which is also quite an advantage sometimes.

I love waking up because I slept enough. Often times, it tends to be about 10 hours or I wake up from texts that might be sent on my 9th/10th hour of sleep (I know.. I sleep a lot and my friends and family make fun of me for it). The best way to wake up is from a "Morning" text though! <3 I kind of cherish those, very much even though they're kind of a daily thing. I don't want them to stop

Anyways, yesterday night I couldn't fall asleep even though I tried to read in bed and usually that puts me to sleep. Hence the cycle. Sleep late, alarm goes off, unknowingly turn off alarm, snooze button for several hours, wake up, then have a mild self-hatred of myself for missing all the available morning workout classes. Today was Nike Training Club. :( :( :( One of the best hiit classes that I appreciate and enjoy.

Today I disappoint myself: I didn't workout. However, I did eat clean all day. Tomorrow I shall make up for it by going to back-to-back classes of Turbo Kick and Les mills body pump. Already knowing tomorrow will be a better, more productive day.

But at least do your pushups :)
