Be merry, eat & drink
I am probably not the best 'fitness' blog because I eat often and drink once in a while. Gotta enjoy life right?
Currently, in Los Angeles and surrounding areas, there is a restaurant event called DineLA happening. It's basically when high-end restaurants have a set menu for lunch/dinner and have 'lower prices' than usual to cater to the more general population. Or basically, it's a yearly (or bi-yearly) occurrence that foodies look forward to so that we can indulge ourselves.
I also yelp quite devotedly.. so this is my guilty pleasure >:)
On Friday, I went to Fogo de Chao, a Brazilian bbq steakhouse in Beverly Hills that serves all you can eat different assortments of meat... And they also have available a salad bar. Oh my god, gluttony.
I didn't stuff myself, and also chewing meat for a while makes you tired of eating. But my plate was more or less fully stocked the whole time I was there because the servers were really good at coming around and putting more meat on your plate.
Luckily for me DineLA is only a 1.5 week long happening. But I heard most of the restaurants are ridiculously crowded and reservations filled.
People love to eat and drink. They're some of life's enjoyments, as long as everything is in moderation.
