My dirty little secret

I think it's secretly hilarious when you see the interesting sweat marks when people work out. -like when your guy dance instructor for zumba wears gray sweats and you can see the sweat pool on his booty; just stick with black pants for sure -when someone is wearing a really tight sports bra and you can see where her back fat squeezes because of which areas are dry vs wet But I'm not hatinggg nor judging. I just think it's very interesting and I get amused by myself. Like this amuses me so I took a selfie of it :P Being sweaty at the gym is awesome! To me personally, it's a testament of how hard I push myself. The more sweaty I am, the more rewarded I feel! and I'm a crybabyy! Tacos & Drugs

I love finding songs through tv shows! Bones actually has pretty great indie-ish songs playing in the background. But today's little gem is: Woraholics: Tacos & Drugs omagerd. The characters are so bromantic (like 99% gay) and super awkward, yet they think they are pretty damn cool and awesome. But the best part is that although they do extremely bizarre things (like you just wonder are there people who actually think that/have that situation), they generally have good hearts and oftentimes take care of each other & their coworkers (unless they're being competitive over one of their ridiculous antics) while enjoying their post college/early 20's with one another; to them that's all that really matters in life. And it's funny when they have one insight of maturity out of all the crazy immature shit they happen to put themselves through.

Sun 6/23: DIG DEEPER

I've decided to add insanity back because my stubborn belly fat is not trying to disappear. This is in the midst of the insanity program last year when I still ate like crap, casually had a daily beer, and ate late at night too; that's telling you Insanity cardio really pushes me and gives me the best results. Summer was ending so I kind of weaned off insanity :P I really need to stop going back to square one on the fitness spectrum! So I popped rhodiola pills today and did what Shaun T kept yelling. Oh this 1st pic isn't me (found it on tumblr). but this 2nd one is! I think it's a little bit of karma playing on me because the day before I snapchat a picture of someone else really sweaty: HEHE I'm so immature and inappropriate :) I mean of course I give major props to this man for working out extremely hard and with absolute dedication, but I couldn't help myself and refrain from not taking a picture :P Here's the workout I did yesterday 4 sets 12-15 reps (superset these three) side plank t-raise vertical db rows db shoulder press Cable flyes side bends with weights Interval cycling 30s to 1 minute turnovers in 20 minutes Funny thing, I didn't plan on doing cable flyes. I didn't have internet for the past week because we thought our router was broken. Turns out actually there was a problem with the modem and the satellite. A technician finally came and made everything back to normal and I'm a happy clam. Glad I no longer have to look at my phone screen for internet stuffz. Seriously #firstworldproblems though not having internet and foxfi only alloting you 5 minutes of wifi :( My friends make fun of me for being kind of homebody, introvert-like, too lazy to go out girl. But I finally came out of my introvert cave and the past week has been quite filled. June 12 & 13: brother's birthday celebration He adamently chose Din Tai Fung for his birthday dinner, so my family and I went there. MMM! the soupy wontons were my favorite. I do not understand however how Chinese people are skinny! Everything is so sodium-fied, doughy, and carby. Must be all the jasmine and green tea they drink? I love tea, but I have banned it for the time-being

Monday 6/10: Insanity Plyo

Who am I kidding... for the duration of the Insanity workouts I am basically doing the mummy kicks, jumping jacks, butt kicks, sprinting and mainly just dancing around amped on black iced coffee. It is LOADS OF FUN and not embarrassing because there's no one to see me bust my dorky moves. Plus EDM music just makes you naturally just want to jump around like an energizer bunny Speaking of naturally wanting to jump around and get into the music, Key & Peele's: Dubstep is kind of hilarious to me  insanity, workout, motivation, dance, nervo, cardio, key & peele, dubstep,  And this is what I made for dinner: Chicken boobies marinaded with oyster sauce & sriacha with homemade salsa on top/lettuce wraps

Apparently there was a Heats basketball game yesterday. Maybe that's why the gym was slightly emptier, but I'm not complaining! Friday & Saturday 6/7 6/8: Cardio bunny - insanity

If you follow this blog, you might realize that I try to find sources of protein that are more natural and healthier than protein powder (and cheaper as well) healthy, protein, soybeans, soy, powder, nuts, protein powder, natural, organic, korean,  Usually my source of protein for post-workout is tofu in a smoothie. But one day I noticed my mom had bought this and decided it would be a good source of protein! :D If you're Korean, you may recognize that this is the powder that coats dduk (rice cake). To make this powder I believe the soybeans are roasted til they are browned and then grinded. And we all know soybeans are good for you! Today's mantra I must push myself to accomplish what I want. I can make excuses but it's only me that I'm cheating. Don't cheat yourself. Motivation for today: Very healthy eating day :) Brunch: overnight oatmeal with yogurt and grapes Lunner: souplantation. It's really just a mound of vegetables... I don't know why or how it always gets so huge :D Snack: wheat slice with cheese and ham & sriacha Snack: homemade popsicle with just milk and strawberries. kind of bland actually.. maybe adding honey next time  dinner: protein shake

Monday 6/3 I forgot what I did that day, but I know I ate healthy all day except for dinner, when we grubbed at In n out. X.x for some reason everything was just salted so much and I eventually got a food coma and while browsing on my phone I drifted off to a deep slumber. JUST DON'T LIE IN BED EVEN FOR A BRIEF MOMENT so I already broke my pledge on the second day hehe That is fine, live another day Tuesday 6/4 : BEWBIES day 4 sets of 12 db flyes medicine ball pushups db bench press cable crossover cable press down and 20 minutes high intensity cycling. OMGawd, so in 19 minutes I cycled 5 miles! Remember when I cycled for an hour last time and my dumb machine said I only cycled 6 miles (lies)? hahah Yay feeling goood ALSO, I got hit on by a buff guy >_< he said he saw me walking into the gym and wanted to get to know me. I was so flustered and caught off guard but what an ego boost :D though I very awkwardly said I'm not looking and ran off *herpderp*

What motivates you to go workout? The past month of May was not a very successful one for me in regards to health and fitness >< (I basically pigged out a lot, and then seeing myself 'let go' and just not having the strength and will power to push myself to workout) and I am feeling the retribution of my gorging and inactiveness 0:) I will probably show a picture of the effects later after I work on my "after picture." Too embarrassed right now heh So I pledge myself to workout everyday this month, because I'm going to be a boss: butt, ass, glutes, workout, gym, exercise, cardio, weights, toned, june, goals, motivation, lose weight, fitness, fit,  Sunday, June 2 BUTT & LEGS Front lunge on bosu with dumbbells 3x12 each leg Bulgarian split squat 3x8 each leg dumbbell hip abduction 3x20 each leg hip thrusters with weights 3x20 donkey kicks 3x15 each leg fire hydrants 3x10 and then I cycled for an hour while reading magazines.... my mac
