Week 8 - Wednesday
Tuesday's food journal |
They're made so magically and easily! I just get shredded cheese and put a thin layer onto a microwave-safe plate. Then heat it up in the microwave for about 60 seconds. It's ok when the cheese is bubbling. I let it cool down for a little so it'll be slightly crunchy when I nom into it :)
Oh, today I woke up quite late and didn't workout.. BUT I was finally able to get the 2 year 24 hr fitness gym membership from Costco. I SO missed going to the gym and squatting and lifting and getting butt gains.
Also, haha today is the start of the 3rd day of not washing hair. Incredible! I am someone who absolutely loves to shower and gets grumpy when I feel oily and icky. I also workout pretty much everyday. Sometimes even twice a day. Therefore, I used to shower daily. However, during the colder periods of this winter, I noticed my hair and skin were probably being overly washed - skin dry, hair dry. And I felt like my scalp was getting oily at the end of each day.
I also read that showering too much and using shampoo too often can possibly lead to baldness. Please noo I don't want to be bald when I get older. I already have thin hair and I wish my mom shaved my head when I was a baby.
So, I looked up dry shampoos and it seemed like Batiste was an all-time favorite. To be honest, I was a bit skeptical - can dry shampoo really let some people wash their hairs after 3-4 days?? ew, I just want to wash my hair every other day...
HAHA but I am now a true, loyal fan of batiste.
It helps me feel fresh after a workout and I plan to workout later in the day. Or if I wake up later than I planned/needed to and have to rush out. It's perfect for tired, cold nights when I don't want to shower and wait for my hair to completely dry. I never thought I'd be one of those girls that don't wash their hairs for more than 2 days. But I have now seen the light and am converted. I have a dirty little secret *Shhh.
I still do enjoy washing my body everyday though. I highly doubt I will ever become one of those people that can live on baby wipes for a couple days. Unless I'm at burning man or doing volunteer work in a third world country.
Listen to the reviews, I definitely prefer the cherry smell over the blush smell. |
