Wednesday morning musings: Friendships
"The better part of one's life consists of his friendships." - Abraham Lincoln
haha the great thing about agenda books are the quotes, albeit some sound so generic.
I used to be afraid that I couldn't make lasting friendships. That I was not compatible, or someone not loving and worthy enough for another person to invest their time and effort to develop a lasting relationship. This is partly due to freshmen and sophomore year of college when I was making new friends and losing old friends over things that I now consider very petty. And also dating guys for a little more than a month because I didn't feel chemistry and didn't want to delve in deeper and invest my emotions and my own time. We're all a little egotistical and immature when young.
But hey, I'm glad I went through those experiences and really learned to cherish the people that God has put into my life. And now have amazing relationships with those who I am absolutely excited to grow with for a lifetime. Although I am an introvert, honestly without the exact people in my life, I would probably be a desolate, depressed person.
I doubt my friends will see this, but here's my little cheesy spiel <3 and sorry I know not everyone is on here!
ha, Wednesday morning musings
Now go do some fasted sprints Dianasaur!
