slight pet peeve
Yesterday I had a good workout but it ended on a "meh" kind of note. It was good cause I was wearing two sports bra and they were thoroughly soaked >:)
Chest, Shoulders, Tris
Butt
while waiting for the squat rack... cause some dude likes to look at his phone and sit on the actual bar whilst waiting in between, weird.
Chest, Shoulders, Tris
- 3 x 15 DB shoulder press
- 15 DB lateral raises, superset 10 pushups. Do 3 sets
- 3 x 15 tricep extensions
- 3 x 15 cable crossovers
Butt

- 10 plie squats followed by however long you want to jumprope (with DBs) Do 4 sets
- Squats 4 x 10 increasing weights each time
- Deadlifts since I went up to 95 lbs last time, I decided to start with 95 today. Cake! did about 10 reps (eventually) and then added 5 more pounds (not much difference!) was going to make it 105 lbs
BUT THEN
while I was in my Dianasaur-mode, some dude came up to me and I asked me how many more sets I had left. I never ask anyone how many sets they have/or how much longer they're going to be on the machine. I figure when they're done, they're done and you really shouldn't bother them by: 1. obviously looking like you're waiting for them 2. getting them out of their zone 3. you can go do another workout, I've had to do that plenty of times
Mind you, this is 10:30 pm on a Friday night when the gym isn't that crowded. I go to the gym when it's not crowded with dudes at the weights so I can have a decent amount of time for myself and not feel pressured and judged by 'strong' people. Marshmallow told me that I should've just said "STILL MY SET BRUH." Maybe I'll say that next time someone asks me. Or maybe I'll just ignore them since I'm wearing my earphones... But honestly even though I wasn't done, the fact that now I knew someone was hinting at me to get off the squat rack, It really just "turned me off and made my imaginary gym-penis soft."
I should've just left the rack with the weights I had on the bar. But I was slightly taken aback and I'm also superr nice, so I helped the interrupt-or take the plates off -_____-
IRKed. I really wanted to push myself a little more.
