because who doesn't want to do less cardio?

Image
These days I've been catching up on youtube videos while on the dreadmill or stair- soul- master . They make the time go by a bit faster while being informative, inspiring, and entertaining. Most of the youtube vlogs end up averaging around 10 mins, and that's enough time for me and my post-lifting cardio sesh (please, don't sign me up for cardio) In the is video Jen Heward does HIIT cardio 1 mins each, do cycle 3x jump rope air squats plie squat jumps mountain climbers (knees to opposite elbow) walking lunges (30 lunges each leg) reverse crunch leg lifts I'm going to attempt to try these in the morning before I head out... but we'll see! She was so sweaty and out of breath afterwards hahah. I can't be tooo tired before I even start my day :P

well, obviously

My blog took a summer break along with me... I miss the long summer days and being less busy though. I don't want my blog to disappear off to oblivion so I'm going to try putting content more often, (goal for now, once a week at least??) We'll see how it goes, I have to be better with time management, and also find a way to stay perky all day instead of just from 5am-1pm. But no worries! I've been eating healthy, drinking lots of water, trying to get in an appropriate amount of sleep each night, and also squeezing in my workouts. Thanks to this video, it has spurred me to come back to my blog and share it :D

10/12 til Hawaii

Current Summer Morning Routine This week, I originally planned to wake up at 5 am, but unconsciously turned off the alarm (every single day of the week.. I guess 5 am isn't happening yo). Alas I woke up at 6:45 am today. Nevertheless, I strive to start off the mornings well. Make it a Good Morning !~ While I brush my teeth, I boil a full kettle of water for my black coffee and freshly brewed passion fruit tea that I. and my family, can drink throughout the day. I don't know why, but drinking tea just makes the day a little better instantly. While I wait for the coffee grounds to steep, I try to do something productive. It rotates about these activites depending on how early I wake up and how I feel that particular morning: listen to podcasts (current favorites are The Smart Passive Income  and Ear Biscuits ) while checking my instagram feed read my daily devotional and have QT with God listen to edm unceunce music and do fasted cardio, pushups, pullups, ab wheels. 9/12 til Hawaii - cardio to cap the week

EDC has completely slipped my mind this year,  until it popped up everywhere on social media. It's always fun seeing people's outfits and hair accessories. I think deciding on outfits is part of the excitement and anticipation for attending music festivals. And we all know that Edc bods are hashtag summer goals right? Anyways,  this year I didnt feel any sense of "fomo" except when I woke up this morning and read about Walter White (Bryan Cranston) ft Above & Beyond! This Breaking Bad fan is so peanut butter and jealous. That badassery must've been pretty awesome to witness. Ok, main point of this post. I love to tune into the livestreams during my workouts. I usually end up dancing along with the go-go dancers, djs, and attendees. Even though I'm not at the festival, and would probably never go to EDC, it is still entertaining to listen to the streams especially within the comforts of your house - clean bathrooms, comfy bed, water, food, ac, no traf...

The one weekend in Hollywood-Ktown-Silverlake

Darn, I'm trying to recap last weekend a week later.. I'm not sure why I haven't been able to sit myself down and reminisce with words. It's been a struggle haha. Regardless, Finally!! I am determine to finish this blog post. So, Saturday I had time to watch Youtube vids and play around with makeup:  Sarocha B Prom makeup  is what I attempted! Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of my attempt because lighting in a club is dark you see. Basically, my makeup was dark and sultry; typical girls' night out style of makeup. I had such a great moment dancing the night away and meeting new strangers  - MS54 [see what I did there, eyy haha]. However, I believe the best memory of the night may be when we left Create and right next to the exit was the glorious dirty dog stand. It is only after dancing for hours would I really ever consider buying hot dogs from the streets.. but live in the moment, and devour the experience I say! I was very ecstatic and content...

On this day, I didn't feel like dressing up and just decided to stay casual. So I decided to make my gym apparel more exciting. I actually found this tribal print tank on sale at Pacsun , but it was a size too big. No big deal! Just wear a bandeau underneath, or in my case a sports bra, and knot it up on the side - make it knotty. heh heh I think this yoga pose is called the Toe Stand . Let me tell you, it was a bit of a challenge to keep my balance and does require concentration. But try it out, it's quite fun! ix. This pose kind of made me feel like a genie - "your wish is my command." ✨ A photo posted by DonutDiana (@rawrdianasaur) on Jun 11, 2015 at 4:19pm PDT

Is this dress purple or grey? haha I seriously had this conversation with someone when I wore this dress. But I think heather grey is what the official description would say :) This Rehab dress I found at Pacsun is one of my all-time favorite dresses. It's both casual and racy&sexy, all at the same time. I'm a sucker for lace knit. AND, this dress has a sweetheart cut with a see-through lacy, racer-back. Love, love, love it. You really have to see this uniqueness! The only "negative" aspect that I can think of this dress is that since the back is see-through lace, it's quite impossible to find a bra. But that's such an easy solution - free the nips, wear a bra with a bandeau, OR wear those silicone stick-on bras! viii. Who knew shadows on the wall could look insidious in the evening 😱👻 A photo posted by DonutDiana (@rawrdianasaur) on Jun 10, 2015 at 7:48pm PDT
