Break the Block - Thank you Tahoe House
Before.. this blog was a timid, inhibited, superficial journaling of my workouts, diets, and adventures. I think I still may be timid and superficial (as in I may not scratch beyond the surface), but this time I will try to leave more lasting impressions and thoughts. The past couple of years I have been so absorbed in one area of my goals -mainly trying to get abs & squat booty while finishing up most of my schooling :P - but now I want to develop myself as a human being and be more well-rounded. I'm trying to be more self-aware and mindful, and trying to absorb everything around me like a rampant sponge. Your girl be thirsty, for knowledge and ideas.
For now, I am loving the slow-paced, semi-lost directionless summer where I can finally catch up on tv shows, knock off books from my bookmarked collection, and travel to friends for trips & events - while constantly studying and recuperating the passion & motivation from within. Oftentimes, changing the scenery and surrounding yourself with people with their own trajectories can help revitalize your own journey. #MotivatedAF
